Foodbuy were awarded the contract to procure food for the NHS in 2018 and we now have a dedicated team in place to focus on public sector procurement and delivering the requirements and ultimately savings for the NHS

Purchasing food for over 150 NHS Trusts across England is no mean feat, which is why we need someone to help us succeed. We have a great opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to provide leadership of the Customer Account Management team in the delivery of budget and KPI requirements within their region. You will regularly monitor and report on delivery of budget and KPI requirements through Business Performance reviews with your team and the Head of Business Development.  You'll identify new business opportunities and outline plans to win New Business and support tin the in delivery of the Business Plan and objectives. You also maintain key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.

More about the role:

Delivery of agreed budgets and KPI's within region as per the Annual Business Plan and targets

  • Implementation and coaching of World Class Key Account Management programme

Development and implementation of a Regional/Team Account Plan with regular monitoring and reviews

Identify and implement plans to drive trust adoption and engagement across region

Support CAM's at key trust meeting's and hold regular reviews with key trust stakeholders to review performance versus Joint Business Plans

  • Account Management responsibility for STP/ICS and key trusts within region
  • Build and implement a contact matrix ensuring we have comprehensive coverage at each appropriate level
  • Accountability for accuracy and frequency of OEC reporting in line with contract KPI's
  • Identification of New Business opportunities and build strategies to win New Business
  • Identify and build competitor knowledge and plans to overcome
  • To represent NHSSC: Food at key industry events
