Come and join our newly designed Discharge to Assess unit within Furness General Hospital.

The unit has 21 beds that will care for residents who have had an acute hospital stay and now are unable to return to their homes.

This unit will offer the residents the opportunity to be assessed for their long term needs and establish where they should be met. You should have some knowledge of the Discharge process.

This unit will assess the needs of the residents who require Residential, EMI residential, General Nursing or EMI Nursing.

Fixed term contract for 12 months which could be a secondment opportunity.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
