What you'll do

As a Regulatory Control Associate, you’ll be providing assurance for regulatory compliance and monitoring. We’ll look to you to accurately deliver monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual submissions to the agreed timelines and generate adequate reporting that will provide the required audit trails and analysis to support figures.

You’ll also be:

  • Managing PRA submissions via supporting data inputs within the defined timelines for Regulatory teams 
  • Ensuring that there is consistency and accuracy of the data across the various risk systems to ensure that the most accurate data submission framework and subsequent reporting is ensured
  • Maintaining and enhancing interfaces and processes within regulatory reporting
  • Preparing management reporting
  • Reviewing and checking submission work
  • Defining and undertaking risk control process tasks to maintain and improve data quality flows across our systems
  • Understanding the requirements from regulators and gathering the information, including getting sign offs from the leadership team

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with knowledge of sales processes and policies, and the rules governing them.

You’ll also bring:

  • Tools knowledge related to Tableau, SQL, Advance Excel (VBA), Business Objects, working knowledge of SAS, Spotfire reporting tool
  • Knowledge of financial products, trading and banking book products, and credit risk exposure knowledge like PD, LGD framework, Limit/utilisation including IFRS guidelines
  • Data analysis skills with large complex structures and volumes including data reconciliations with commentary analysis
  • The ability to work on your own initiative, setting priorities and working to defined deadlines
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers
