SSE's Networks IT provides application support for middleware technologies delivered as part of the Networks IT Roadmap. The overall team acts as the process and system owners of integration points between the applications, using a range of Oracle technologies (SOA, OSB and ODI), IBM technologies (Maximo, Mobile Anywhere and BIRT). We are looking for a Team Leader in support of an expanding workload in this area.

What is the Role?

You'll provide leadership and management for the Release/Environment Management team in Networks IT, ensuring the team contributes to the overall success of the department and SSE. This will include managing the teams operation, delivery, compliance and performance against the requirements and targets associated with all Service Management processes. You'll be expected to strive for continual improvements in quality and performance whilst ensuring the safety and well-being of the team and other colleagues.

What do I need?

You'll have significant experience in leading a Release/Environment team, Change Management and Security policies as well as a broad understanding of a variety of IT platforms and software systems. You'll demonstrate an aptitude for using IT tools and software, including Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, ITSC and Quality Center. An excellent communicator, you're committed to providing first-class customer service and to working as part of a team.
