This role is open to agents in England and Wales only
A repossession or recovery agent is commonly known as a "repo agent" .The primary role of our repo agent's is to work on behalf of Absolute Enforcement's repossession arm (on a self employed basis) and carry out an instruction to repossess a vehicle from someone that hasn't paid his or her debt obligations.
The most integral role for an agent is to use their own initiative and be able to track down a vehicle and physically repossess it on behalf of the company.
Once you locate the vehicle in question, a key duty of the agent is to arrange for its safe recovery. If the keys are handed over, the agent will normally (if the vehicle is roadworthy) drive the vehicle to the nearest safe storage location.
The agent may also arrange for repossessions when the owner is being unhelpful. This process usually involves coordinating removal with a local towing company which is arranged through the head office and the client.
Once the vehicle is secured, the repo agent moves the property to the company's storage or a safe location.
This role will need the agent to work early mornings/late evenings as the debtor may be working during the day. However, you control your day and you can work around your current commitments.
Full training and guidance will be given.
For this role, a driving licence is required.
