What you'll do

As a Resolution Planning Analyst, you’ll be helping to develop the resolvability assessment framework in line with the policy and guidance from the Bank of England. You’ll also be delivering the self assessment of resolvability, making sure it’s designed and executed effectively to provide a robust view of the bank’s resolution readiness and working with other teams to ensure all activities are completed in a timely and robust manner.

Your role will also involve:

  • Making sure that there’s full traceability of the resolution requirements from legislation or regulation through to the self assessment
  • Helping to deliver the testing mechanisms for making sure that the self assessment is an accurate and verified view of the resolution readiness
  • Assisting in coordinating the input to the self assessment across the bank and editing sections of the final document as appropriate
  • Driving improvements to self assessment results along with other teams
  • Supporting management in aspects of Resolution Planning as appropriate

The skills you'll need

To join us in this role, you’ll be educated to degree level or will have equivalent experience in the financial sector. You’ll be able to take initiative, analyse complex problems, think strategically and break down challenges into tangible tasks to achieve a set of overall objectives.

As well as this, you’ll bring:

  • Experience of working within a change or regulatory team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong relationship and networking skills, with the ability to develop relationships and interact at all levels
  • A proven ability to work to demanding timeframes
