Job Description

Leicester City Football Club (LCFC) is a professional football club based in the East Midlands. The club competes in the Premier League, the top division of England's football league system, and plays its home matches at the King Power Stadium. The Foxes' new training facility is a £100m development on the site of the former 185-acre Park Hill golf course.

As our Restaurant Supervisor you will proactively supervise delivery of all restaurant operations across the Leicester City Training Ground site. Initially spending time with the stadium operations teams learning the expected standards to offer a high-quality service to meet the First Team and Academy requirements.

At the Training Ground the Restaurant Supervisor is responsible to ensure consistency in service delivery across all front of house areas of the venue to include the main dining area, media suite, parents pavilion and any other ancillary areas as required - ensuring these standards are in line with the Restaurant Manager's vision for the venue.

More about the role:
  • Ensuring that all menus and paperwork are printed in line with brand guidelines and provided to the team, including menu tags, break sheets, packs and signage with a full breakdown of each.
  • Working with the Restaurant Manager to understand the business plan for each week and liaising with the onsite team to ensure the most up to date information is followed and the operations team have this.
  • You will build strong relationships with all stakeholders including, clients and guests, operations, first team staff, players and the culinary team.
  • Deliver and lead best in class customer service and to highest of standards whilst fully supporting best in class guest experiences.
  • Work within the labour budget as set by the Restaurant Manager and ensure all labour planners are completed for labour requirements. Supporting and analysing where costs can be cut by the operation is also part of your role.
  • You will be responsible for ordering and planning and ensure this is carried out to the needs of the business to limit stock holding.
Who you are:

You will be a restaurant or catering professional with strong communication skills and experience of leading and managing a small team of people within a in a high-end restaurant environment.

A strong work ethic, results orientated, organised and a keen eye for are requirements for this role. You will also need to evidence your ability to work to strict pressured deadlines.

It is essential that you are able to act with flexibility and in the strictest confidence - maintaining professionalism and discretion around the First Team and Academy.
