Job title: Risk and Insurance Manager

Reports to: Director of Insurance

Base location: Hook/Victoria, (work from home days possible 2/3 days a week; currently home based due to Covid-19)

Salary: Up to £50,000 + car + benefits

This role sits in a Group insurance team providing insurance, risk and claim management advise to all of Serco's operational activity. The Risk and Insurance Manager will support a key group department within the Enterprise Risk Management function with primary responsibility for managing group wide insurance programs and insurable risk and/or claims related issues - maintaining broadest cover at optimal cost.

 

 

As a key member of the Group Insurance team you will be accountable for continually assessing the group's global operational risk environment and maintaining optimum insurance coverage and insurable risk management practices throughout the group, in line with the Group Risk Management and Insurance strategy.

What you'll need to do the role

 

 

You will need to be educated to Degree level and have 2-5 years demonstrable experience within Insurance, and ambitious to progress within a business. A strong technical ability in Insurance and Insurable Risk across several policy types is essential. Ideally you will be ACII qualified or part qualified or equivalent.
