School Transport Passenger Assistant

Permanent, part time (20 hours per week) term time only

Salary: £9.36 - £9.55 per hour

Location: Oakham

Do you have a caring nature?  Do you have experience of working with vulnerable young people?  We are looking for School Passenger Assistants to work with students, their care givers and school staff to ensure students travel to and from school safely.


Who you are…


  • You have experience of working with the public in a caring role
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • You are committed to delivering a high level of customer service to clients and their families


Your passengers will include children with special educational needs or disabilities, and you will be supported by a driver during the journey.


The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS will be paid for by us.
