Up to £20,450 p.a.

Full or part-time, during term time

An exciting opportunity in the Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team has arisen for a Security Officer. Safeguarding and wellbeing is an integral part of the College's outstanding support for both 16-19 and adult students, and the Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team has highly trained staff that specialise in promoting physical, emotional, and mental health for all our students, including relationships with their peers, and in the online environment, and maintaining the safety for all whilst they are in College.

The ideal candidate would possess skills and qualities such as self-initiative, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organised and able to work in isolation and as part of a team.  Experience in working within the security sector is essential.

This post is for during College’s term time (42 weeks) and can be either a fulltime or fractional post. Runshaw has a great college community with incredible teamwork – it is a vibrant, caring, and enjoyable place for staff, and as such these days and hours of working may offer flexibility around other commitments.
