Shift: 14.00 - 22.00, 5 out of 7 days
Salary: £18.005.04 per annum
Location: Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, NR4 7UY
About the Role:
The Security Officer will be responsible for delivering a helpful and professional front of house service, providing a polite, efficient and compassionate service to patients, visitors and staff. You will offer a security presence at the hospital, carrying out reactive and proactive duties and offering crime prevention advice to all users of the Hospital.
The Security Officer acts as first line response to violent and aggressive incidents, investigating reports of theft and producing written reports for all security related incidents. The post holder will also provide a proactive approach to crime prevention, by way of physically patrolling the Hospital site and use of installed security systems.
The Security Officer will build strong relationships with users and employees at the hospital, and with outside agencies, such as the local Police and Fire service.
The successful candidate will have Security experience, ideally within a Hospital or similar environment. You must also hold a valid SIA licence.
