Job Description

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant/Support Worker

Location: Primary School within Greenwood Academy Trust

Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only (Monday to Friday)

Pay: £88.94 - £118.50 per shift (8.30-15.30)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support the learning and development of students.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Help with classroom management and organisation.
  • Support students with personal care needs, if required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs support is a plus.
