Salary: £46,319 - £61,175 depending on skills and experience

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time, 37 hours | Flexible working patterns available

What is the Role?

As a Senior Analyst Programmer within our Networks IT Web Team, you'll be supporting in-house and 3rd-party applications and performing development work using Web skills.

Your responsibilities will include: analysing system requirements and designing, testing, coding and modifying complex programmes and scripts to agreed company standards. You'll be working autonomously on complex projects and leading on small lower risk projects.

Other areas of responsibility will include: release management; system analysis, design and build; diagnosing and resolving problems with applications systems in the production environment; coding programs; analysing and resolving issues and faults; 'development level' involvement throughout the full software development lifecycle; providing technical input to the Project Delivery team.

You'll also be involved mentoring and coaching more junior team members, as well as helping to improve the team in terms of innovation and collaboration.

What do I need?

The ability to apply your excellent understanding of the full software development lifecycle to projects. You'll have intermediate development experience using Visual Studio and C#.Net along with excellent technical computing, analysis, design and development skills.

Your skills should include the majority of: C#; ASP.Net; ASP.Net Web Forms; MVC; T-SQL; JavaScript/Type Script; jQuery; HTML; CSS/LESS; REST API; Ektron; Azure B2C; TFS; VSO; IIS. You'll have extensive Web Development knowledge for supporting and developing the applications used by Networks, but if you don't have all these skills, you may still be considered and the necessary training provided

Proactive with a systematic approach to problem solving, you'll be able to prioritise your own workload and take ownership of problems and requests, working in a pressurised environment. We're looking for a team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
