What you'll do

Specialising in Data Analytics, your role as Senior Audit Manager will see you influencing multiple portfolios to become a data driven function by using analytics. We'll look to you to lead a team to perform analytics on audits to improve assurance, as well as data innovation projects to improve efficiencies and insights.

Other key aspects of your role will involve:

  • Supporting and maintaining the data analytics methodology and infrastructure

  • Contributing to the development of analytical skills in the function

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and technical stakeholders across the bank

  • Supporting and maintaining effective relationships with professional bodies and industry peers to set top quartile benchmarks and standards for the function

  • Influencing multiple portfolios and senior stakeholders to become a data driven function

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with at least 15 years of experience in Internal Audit. You'll bring excellent analytical skills, including SQL or SAS and Python visualisation tools. You'll also need strong knowledge of technical infrastructure to support analytics.

Additionally, you'll need:

  • Experience in managing a team of analysts

  • Experience in effectively managing stakeholder relationships

  • The ability to challenge and influence confidently and clearly

  • The ability to actively identify and help develop talent

  • Experience of supporting and supervising a team through coaching and development
