NHBC have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Construction Quality Analyst to join the Training & Analysis team based in the North Midlands - Walsall, Stafford or Burton upon Trent area. With the current landscape of movement restrictions, value engineering and rising customer expectations, the quality of new homes across the UK has never been under greater pressure. About the role
One of the key areas of growing support is within our Construction Quality team, a team that is at the forefront of our data analysis and feedback capability. The unique insights this team is sharing with the industry and NHBC is creating considerable demand for additional support activities within our portfolio of Construction Quality Services. Therefore, we are pleased to be expanding this team with the addition of several ‘Senior Construction Quality Analyst roles. Reporting to a Construction Quality Manager, you will carry out a range of tasks such as Construction Quality Reviews, surveys and dependent on skill set – undertake analysis and/or feedback on Construction quality.
You will typically work within a defined geographical area; however, some occasional nationwide travel overnights may be required.
- Proven experience within the housebuilding industry
- Knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC Standards and Building Control
- Quality focussed with an eye for detail and desire to drive improvements to the house building industry
- Able to build rapport and convey complex technical information to site personnel clearly and concisely
- Insightful, creative and persuasive whilst at the same time balancing diplomacy
- An effective communicator, face to face, in workshops and through presentations
- Solid analytical skills and comfortable using Microsoft Excel
- Good written skills, able to produce accurate reports
- Highly organised, able to balance and prioritise a demanding workload
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable skills: Inspection / Quality Management or similar role within housebuilding, Membership or working towards membership or a relevant professional institution such as RICS, CABE, CIOB, ICWCI
Salary & Benefits
£ 40,000.00 - £43,500.00 per annum
Up to 6% performance related bonus.
