What you'll do

As a Senior Financial Analyst in our Regulatory Reporting Team you'll be:

  • Preparing liquidity metrics for risk reporting as per BASEL III and UK guidelines
  • Delivering monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual submissions to the agreed timelines and generate adequate reporting with supporting commentaries
  • Maintaining and enhancing interfaces and processes within regulatory reporting as well as defining and undertaking risk control process tasks to maintain and improve data quality flows across our systems
  • Working on new information or reporting requests from regulators and other external bodies
  • Providing expertise for liquidity risk reporting and participating in and contributing to knowledge sharing sessions
  • Performing testing on new releases for Enhanced Mismatched Report and Additional Liquidity Monitoring Metrics
  • Working on new information or reporting requests from regulators and other external bodies
  • Preparing management reporting, and reviewing and checking submission work
  • Understanding the requirements from regulators and gathering the information, including getting sign offs from the leadership team

The skills you'll need:

  • Good understanding of bank’s Balance Sheet, products in banking industry and accounting skills
  • Advanced MS Excel (VBA skills as an advantage)
  • Very good command of English (both written and spoken)
  • Work experience in financial reporting functions, Product Control, Fund Accounting or on similar fields
  • The ability to work on your own initiative, setting priorities and working to defined deadlines
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers
