The Informatics Department of Hywel Dda University Health Board is looking to recruit a Senior Information Developer (Business Intelligence) to work within the Information Services team.
The Health Board is driving forward with its Informatics agenda, and a core feature of the Information Services team is the continued development and support of robust self-service reporting and data capture tools.
The work within the role will be wide and varied, and for this position we are looking for applicants who specialise in the development of reporting tools that can be distributed across the organisation for use by a wide audience, along with the ability to help create data capture tools to allow further data sets to be added to the department data warehouse, as well as turning their hand to other development work and showcasing a portfolio of skills.
The role will consist of providing support and solutions to data capture and reporting for stakeholders across the whole of the Health Board. The work centres around developing self-service and automated reporting solutions for IRIS, the in-house Information Reporting Intelligence System.
Working primarily with the Power BI business intelligence suite, along with the SQL Server, the ideal candidates will be familiar with the use of data from a variety of sources and the process of creating intuitive visualisations and operational reports that users are able to access themselves as and when required.
Interviews for this post will be held on Tuesday 3rd November 2020.
