We are looking for a Sales Executive / Technical Sales Executive who is experienced in winning new business and operating at a high tempo across complex contracts.

 

Your role will involve identifying, engaging and influencing Ministry of Defence (MOD) or MOD supply chain stakeholders to support their drive for Digital Transformation. You will use your technical ability to help shape customer requirements, along with technical architects when required, in order to develop compelling sales propositions for our existing customer base.

 

You will identify and qualify opportunities and execute a sales pipeline that will meet and exceed targets, including establishing value proposition and win strategy for qualified opportunities including strategy for beating the competition and working to disrupt the market.

 

Your experience

 

  • Strong client centricity, continually aiming to improve value and exceed customer expectations by winning new business
  • Possesses a sound commercial acumen
  • Entrepreneurial deal making ability
  • Self-motivated and an ability to influence and work through others
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • A proven track record in IT sales or IT Technical Sales Account Management (minimum 2 years)
  • Experience selling successfully to Enterprise and ideally Public Sector customers
  • You will have good technical awareness
  • Must have the ability to process complex information
  • Must be a competent writer of documentation. Excellent written and verbal skills including ability to summarise and articulate complex solutions to clients
  • Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Financially literate
  • Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator
