The Catalogue Request Manager is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Service Catalogue Management process and responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of this process.

They ensure that the Service Catalogue is the single, accurate and consistent source of data on all authorised and operational IT Services, including details about the service, the timeframe for delivery, and the conditions of the Service Level Agreement for the service.

Reporting into the Request, Catalogue and Access Lead, this role works closely with supply chain users of the Service Catalogue as well as the associated roles for Request Fulfilment and Access Management.

Your role

  • Maintain all items in the Service Catalogue throughout their lifecycle, including associated workflows and attributes, working with Service Owners ensuring that information about each Catalogue item is relevant and up to date on the Service Catalogue
  • Work with the Service Request Analysts to maintain the accuracy of the Service Requests within the Service Catalogue ensuring that the information in the Service Catalogue is consistent with information in the Service Portfolio, Strategic design of the Enterprise Catalogue and Service Portfolio and drive toward a single system of engagement
  • Coordinate and facilitate discussions and working sessions between Service Catalogue Management and other processes, especially asset, configuration management, portfolio management, and request fulfilment
  • Ensure ownership of each Service Catalogue item by the appropriate Service provider is well understood. Complete regular reviews of the Service Catalogue with internal stakeholders and the supply chain to ensure relevance to business needs and requirements and services delivered to SL
  • Update and maintain the front end of the Service Catalogue within the relevant toolset, monitor the Service Catalogue queue in the ITSM Toolset, Review requests for changes to the Service Catalogue, for example additions, changes, removals. Design Service Catalogue models, Define the SRD for Requestable offerings, Define create and maintain SCM reporting

Your profile

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to clearly explain problems to both a technical and non-technical audience
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and patterns
  • Computer literate, including a good working knowledge of relevant computer software
  • Ability to work towards and pass ITIL Certification
