Our legal team is highly regarded throughout the authority as professional and reliable, delivering an excellent legal service with every member of the team having a positive “can-do” attitude and adopting a problem-solving approach to any challenge presented to them. Mansfield District Council is an ambitious authority and the work undertaken by the legal team is varied, interesting and extremely rewarding.
Strong and effective communication skills are key for this role as the successful candidate would be expected to lead the team and share knowledge and best practices regularly. We are a true team, with the collective goal of providing an exemplary legal service to Mansfield District Council. The successful candidate must have the ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and be able to manage conflicting priorities within a diverse and demanding workload. We are seeking a leader that will guide the Legal Services team with a strong approach to performance management.
