The Solutions Analyst is a key supporting role in ensuring effective delivery of the Global Business Services strategy. The successful Solutions Analyst will assist with the ongoing deployment and maintenance of Global Source to Pay (S2P) systems and processes.
You will assist with the increasing volume of operational and project-based workload to ensure consistent coverage of end user support.
The Role
Drive continuous adoption and benefits realisation across GBS Solutions
Drive deployment, adoption and compliance across (S2P) systems and processes (including Vendor Onboarding)
Technical development of SAP Ariba Content and Procurement Master Data
Operates controls framework and testing
Actively drives continuous improvement
Analyse use of systems and process to identify opportunities
User acceptance testing for ongoing development
Develops and maintain stakeholder network
Impact assesses change at an operational level
Provides meaningful and timely MI
Provide 2nd line technical support/escalations and service management
Ensure continuity of service across time zones - in line with 3rd party outsourced services
Provide functional business partnering across geographies
Manage local regulatory matters
Identifies and manages operational risk
The Person
To be successful in this role you will have comprehensive working knowledge of Source to Pay processes and current market knowledge of Procurement technologies. Experience of working within a large and complex Procurement environment where transformation has taken place across multiple geographies is key along with the following:
Excellent understanding of Procurement activity across a large organisation and associated operations
Experience of delivering and ongoing management of successful change
Ability to think laterally, globally, and creatively to drive additional value for the business
Strong internal customer influence and change management skills
Project experience and appreciation of technology support frameworks
Ability to challenge internal stakeholders through market knowledge and best practice
Strong networking abilities to build and maintain productive stakeholder relationships
Appreciates and is able to manage master data governance
Extensive experience in Procurement Systems (SAP S4/SAP ARIBA)
Excellent Microsoft application skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Teams & Planner)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
