Sous Chef - Silverstone

Up to £27,000 + Overtime

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and experienced Sous Chef to lead our dedicated catering team, who produce outstanding food using the finest and freshest ingredients in this highly prestigious unit.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assisting the head chef in the daily operation of the kitchen
  • Running the daily operation of the kitchen in the head chefs absence
  • Assisting with the creation and development of modern innovative and seasonal menus which reflect the high standards required by the Porsche brand
  • Assisting with the development of a range of healthy and nutritional Human Performance Recommends products
  • Working quickly and efficiently at all times whilst making sure the food goes out of the kitchen promptly to a high standard
  • Ordering and receipting of stock
  • Assisting with the weekly stock takes
  • Working within budgets set by the client
  • To ensure all food preparation is carried out in accordance with food hygiene procedures
  • To ensure portion control, preparation and storage methods avoid wastage and keep down costs
  • To assist in the recording of all wastage sheets, cleaning records, food costs etc
  • To assist in ensuring all staff know about the food being prepared and cooked so can advise customers
  • Assisting with development of new breakfast/brunch style menu
