Stock Controller | Draycott in the Clay, United Kingdom | req65865

We have a great opportunity to join our Telecoms team in Draycott in the Clay as stock controllers providing support the Warehouse Supervisor in the update of inbound and outbound stock movements.


The successful candidate will ensure through data processing that all stock administration is complete including, reviewing stock data, data analysis (including aged stock management), complete SAP and Ciel transactions and reporting. All tasks activity is to be completed in a timely and accurate manner, constantly achieving departmental KPIs as indicated by the customer.


  • Managing the SAP and Ciel system with the various inputs required in order to maintain stock integrity. Data entry, using SAP, Ciel and excel spread sheets. Maintain and align stock records for specific customers
  • Ensure issue logging process in adhered to through to issue resolution. Resolution of SAP (and other IT related systems where applicable) systems related issues within SLA
  • Development and ongoing ownership of operational spreadsheets / reports as required to ensure the integrity of KPI data. Support the flow of information and feedback for all business and customer updates and initiatives
  • Undertake training as identified in departmental training plan.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers to better understand key business drivers. Support the delivery of customer service excellence
  • Operate and interrogate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to identify potential improvements. Working in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
  • Making and receiving telephone calls, E-Mail communications, filing
  • Comply with all Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace
  • Review and implement operational KPIs and understand impact on operation to ensure areas of responsibility are run efficiently. Ensure maximum systems availability through close monitoring/escalating and management of issue resolution. Follow the escalation process where there is any deviation from the standard process.


  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office applications including data bases
  • Knowledge of in House K+N WMS and SAP - an advantage
  • Knowledge of SAP R/3 system
  • Good knowledge of creating and interrogating spreadsheets
  • Ability of interpreting data
  • Development and understanding of KPIs
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience of stock management and stock control
