Student Administration Officer

 

For this role, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide an accurate and effective administration service for the College.  The work will be varied and will involve developing knowledge of all aspects of student administration to ensure that the team prioritise key tasks at busy times.  This will involve the full learner journey from application to achievement including registering students with awarding bodies, assisting in the coordination of tests/exams, creating timetables as well as assisting with the organising of enrolment including transport and bursaries.  The reception service will also be shared within the team providing an exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.  The successful candidate will be a confident IT user, have a high standard of English and high levels of accuracy. Organisation, attention to detail and being able to handle confidential information are vital to succeed in this role. Essential to this role is having a desire to learn, and a proactive, helpful and supportive attitude.

Hours: 15 Hours per week Monday – Friday with flexibility to meet business needs.

 

Salary: £6,949.80 per annum (£17,142.84 per annum pro rata) which is the National Living Wage.

 

Job Purpose: To provide outstanding service for the Student Administration Department in all aspects to include: timetabling, exams, enrolment, bursaries, admissions & reception. To provide curriculum administration support as required.
