Salary (S5 Grade): £23,487 - £27,116 per annum plus £2,166 per annum London Weighting

The College of Business, Arts and Social Sciences is seeking to appoint three Student Programmes Administrators to work within our Taught Programmes Offices (TPO). 2 of these roles are for a start as soon as possible and the remaining role is for a Mach 2022 start. 

Our students rely on the TPO as their first point of contact in relation to their academic studies.

The TPOs oversee the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes delivered by:

  • Department of Arts and Humanities
  • Brunel Business School
  • Brunel Law School
  • Department of Economics and Finance
  • Department of Education
  • Department of Social and Political Sciences

    One of the roles is within the Policing TPO team and the other is in the Eastern Gateway TPO team, supporting Brunel Business School, Brunel Law School and Department of Economics and Finance.

    Working within one of the TPO teams in an open plan office environment, your main duties will involve:

  • Day to day maintenance of student records;
  • Dealing with student enquiries in person, over the phone, via live chat and by CRM/email;
  • Reception duties on a rota basis;
  • Processing student assessment and results;
  • Preparing agendas, taking minutes and following up on actions;
  • Working closely with academic staff at all levels to support teaching and learning.

As these are student-facing roles, excellent customer service skills are essential. You will also require excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills as well as good numeracy and written English. You should have experience of working within a team.

You will be required to demonstrate the ability to use IT systems effectively, such as a student record system or eLearning portal, and you will also require experience of Microsoft packages.
