Having recently been awarded the contract to provide Aircraft Engineering Support and Airfield Services (AESAS) at Royal Naval Air Stations (RNAS) Yeovilton and Culdrose, we're continuing our strong working relationship across both these sites in supporting the Royal Navy's Merlin and Wildcat Helicopter Forces. And as our Aircraft Supervisor (Data Integrity), this individual will play a key role in helping us do that.
Working from the Yeovilton site, this role will be responsible for the engineering records to insure and assure accurate life data and exploit Merlin Engineering data to sustain and improve system integrity for CHF at RNAS Yeovilton. The Supervisor (Data Integrity) will require an understanding of the MAOS regulatory governance applicable in an operational airworthiness environment. They are required to hold appropriate professional qualifications and/or relevant experience to support Aircraft Engineering services at RNAS Yeovilton as part of the 845 and 846 Naval Air Squadrons at RNAS Yeovilton, supporting operational deliverables and interfaces in a highly regulated environment.
The role is full time and you'll either be working a daytime routine or to a shift pattern in accordance with the Customer and site requirements.
What you need to do the role
You must have 5 years' experience in military/industry airworthiness environment equivalent to holding the rate of Supervisor or above. The Aircraft Supervisor must have attained a Service Certificate of Competency (CoC) or equivalent or be able to hold a CoC. Previous supervisory experience is essential and a thorough and good working knowledge of Aircraft Engineering and Aircraft Systems (by Trade), rotary wing/fixed wing military (aviation) procedures and an understanding and have proven experience of Airworthiness Engineering Safety and Compliance iaw Regulatory and Legislative requirements (MAA and MAOS). The successful post holder should have an excellent capability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining operational outputs.
