About the role

We are currently looking for a Systems Trainer to support the Typhoon Mission Systems Advisory Service (MSAS), within the Mission Systems IDT, working as an embedded member of the Typhoon Mission Support Centre (MSC).

The Typhoon MSC is responsible for the development and production of Typhoon mission data, and for testing and assuring of that product.

The Systems Trainer would be responsible for developing, coordinating and delivering Electroinc Warfare (EW) and Mission Data (MD) training to Typhoon MSC staff, working under the guidance of the EW Training Specialism Lead.

What do I need?

  • The Systems Trainer must have a degree in Engineering, Science or Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • You should have a relevant qualification in training, e.g. Level 3 Education & Training.
  • The Systems Trainer must have a keenness to develop advanced domain skills in Combat Air Systems.

Please note that all applicants must be eligible for SC clearance as a minimum.

What will I be doing?

  • The Systems Trainer will be developing EW training material.
  • You will be conducting or supporting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) or training requirements activities.
  • The Systems Trainer will be supporting the generation of competency frameworks for EW and MD.
  • You will be coordinating MSC training activity in conjunction with staff needs and in conjunction with MSC-internal, QQ, or external training providers.
  • You'll be responsible for the delivery and review of EW and MD training to MSC staff.
