Hourly rate:£13.45 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to join our supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and delivering learning activities.
  • Support pupils individually and in groups to enhance learning.
  • Help prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Promote positive behaviour and classroom engagement.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage confidence and independence.
  • Support pupils' emotional well-being and personal development.

You're a perfect fit if you have:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or an equivalent recognised qualification).
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills, including GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent).
  • A good understanding of child development and effective learning strategies.
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), or a willingness to develop this expertise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a genuine passion for helping every child achieve their full potential.
