Job Description

The Performance and Resource Management Unit are looking for a Workforce Planning & HR Performance Officer to join the team.

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining police officer and police staff establishment records and the organisational charts for the Force. Alongside, you will work on a consultancy basis to ensure a joined up approach in the use of establishment and strength information and workforce planning. You will also have involvement in the coordination of the Job Evaluation process for the force, including maintaining a Job Description Library.

The successful candidate will have excellent numeracy skills, the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with other areas of the organisation, providing advice and support as required whilst assisting with Management information requests. Your role will require an input into the preparation of reports or presentation of statistics and providing support to meetings.

We are looking for previous experience of research, designing and maintaining spreadsheets and various databases. Strong administration skills with experience of Process Development, Improvement and Management Information are essential to this role.

A Knowledge of the principles of the Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information Act and the Code of Practice on Management of Police Information is essential to the role, as is the ability to keep up to date with changes in policy, practices and procedure.
