Base Location: Field Based - Nationwide

Salary: £12.46 per/hour

Working Pattern: 12 months Fixed Term | Full Time, 38 hours per week

About the Department

SSE Enterprise Contracting is one of the UK's largest Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) contractors with a product/service portfolio ranging from M&E LV, HV, Instrumentation, Street Lighting, Facilities Management through to Combined Heat and Power solutions.

What is the Role?

SSE Contracting E&I are working for a prestigious client across the UK installing the electrical systems on new automated warehouses. Thanks to continued growth with this client, we are currently looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated and hardworking Electrical Improvers.

The project scope includes the installation of large containment systems, fabrication and installation of Unistrut frames and installation of various commercial/ industrial cabling. Due to the nature of these projects and the importance to meet milestones while ensuring impeccable workmanship, working efficiently and methodically is essential.

What do I need?

As an Electrical Improver, you will have experience in the installation of commercial containment/cabling and also glanding expertise. You will ideally have worked on conveyors and PLCs in your career and preferably possess CCNSG/IPAF/PASMA.

Attention to detail is key in this role, due to the stringent quality criteria set on the projects. You'll enjoy working as part of a team and will be confident when in a client facing role as required.

Good time management and a strong work ethic is key as well as your ability to work to tight schedules.

The role will operate across various locations across the UK (Project dependent) and extended hours may be required when needed.

It is an essential requirement for this role that you have a full, current driving licence.
