Job Description

Job title: Apprenticeship Coach

Base location: Home based with occasional UK travel

Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 (depending on management level) + car + benefits


Serco are a global, FTSE 250 company with over 500 contracts across 20 countries. We rely on the support of our Learning and Apprenticeship Services Team to deliver the skills strategy that keeps the business running smoothly and efficiently, now and into the future.


Our Apprenticeship Coaches deliver Apprenticeship Standards in business and management sectors, from level 2 through to level 7. Due to growth of the team and promotions within it, we are looking for 5 Apprenticeship Coaches at the following levels:


  • Level 2-3 (salary up to £30,000)
  • Level 5  (salary up to £35,000)
  • Level 6  (salary up to £38,000)
  • Level 7  (salary up to £38,000)


The roles will be responsible for the end to end learner journey including delivery and administration of teaching, learning and assessment within the Apprenticeships standards (compliant with internal and external quality standards).

What you'll need to do the role...


You will need occupational experience and have worked at least at the level of management for which you be a delivering training and coaching. You will need to hold a teaching, assessment or coaching qualification and be committed to continuous professional development. This role will be home based and where required you will travel to contract sites within your assigned region.
