About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Training Delivery Instructor (Phase 2 Training). As a Training Delivery Instructor you will deliver high quality training in line with Company standards and contractual requirements.

Using your experience gained in a similar role you'll principally deliver and supervise Phase 2 Technical Training to trainees in the early stage of their engineering career. You'll assist in maintaining and updating training documentation, as well as assess student course work and provide feedback on performance. When necessary you'll provide instruction in other WE principles topics in accordance with the training plan - e.g. general electronic engineering principles and practices. You'll also carry out the level 0 and level 1 maintenance on training equipment for which suitable qualifications and experience are held.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll have a minimum of ONC in a relevant engineering discipline together with DCTS Defence Instructional Techniques course or equivalent (successful completion)

We would also like you to have the following:

  • consolidated experience of general electronic engineering principles (within the last 5 years)
  • previous instructional experience gained in a military environment (within the last 5 years)
  • experience in the development of engineering based training courses
  • experience of CBT/CAI principles, concepts and use, appreciation of RN WE Engineering Technician career path and Career Course content (within last 3 years)

Lastly, you'll need ECDL or equivalent proficiency in using IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.

What else do I need to know?

The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
