Job Description

Join us as a Treasury Regulatory Manager

  • In your new role, you’ll deliver bank-wide solutions to improve resolvability, offering your subject matter expertise on resolution related issues, with a focus on financial resources resolution outcomes (MREL, Valuations and Funding in Resolution)
  • You’ll be critical in removing barriers to resolution while making sure that customer protection is preserved or enhanced
  • Expect to hone your networking skills in this collaborative and fast-paced role

What you'll do

As our Treasury Regulatory Manager, you’ll support the design and delivery of the resolution planning agenda across the bank, proactively driving activities to make sure that all regulatory requirements are met. You’ll also support or take the lead in delivering ad-hoc and scheduled reporting to regulatory bodies and relevant governance forums.

You’ll also be:

  • Tracking developments in the regulatory and financial environment to pre-empt and understand the impact on resolution planning
  • Collating and analysing data that can help to enhance our bank’s resolution capabilities and support the regulator in creating the resolution plan
  • Establishing strong relationships with senior stakeholders across franchises, services and functions in support of resolution planning deliverables

The skills you'll need

To make an impact with us, you’ll need experience of working in the financial sector in a change or regulatory team. Strong relationship and networking skills are a must, along with your ability to develop relationships and interact with people at all levels.

You’ll also need:

  • The ability to analyse complex problems, think strategically and break down challenges into tangible tasks to achieve a set of overall objectives
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work to demanding timeframes
  • Excellent PowerPoint, Word and Excel abilities
