Lecturer in Health & Social Care - The Role:

You will play a pivotal role in empowering our students to reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality teaching and assessment, crafting engaging schemes of work, and developing lesson and assessment plans that inspire learning. You will also contribute to our students' wider educational experience by supporting their pastoral needs and ensuring our resources and teaching methods reflect best practice.
Additionally, you will have the exciting opportunity to teach on our Higher Education programmes and the innovative Health T Levels, helping to prepare the next generation of health and social care professionals.
Lecturer in Health & Social Care - Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional teaching and assessment across our Health & Social Care programmes.
- Develop and implement engaging schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment strategies.
- Support the holistic development of students by addressing their pastoral needs and contributing to enrichment activities.
- Ensure that teaching resources and practices are aligned with best practice and drive student success.
- Teach on a range of programmes, including Higher Education courses and Health T Levels.
Lecturer in Health & Social Care - You:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a relevant degree in Health, Social Care, or a related field.
- Have proven experience teaching BTEC, A-Level, or Higher Education Health & Social Care qualifications.
- A strong track record of driving student success and progression.
- A teaching qualification (or a willingness to work towards one).
- A dynamic and engaging teaching style that motivates and inspires students.
