Volunteering Administrator – Full Time 
£22762 - £23346 37.5 hours per week 
Leicester LE3 1UT

Through the Association’s Connections for Life service, volunteers regularly contact and support lonely or isolated individuals, and provide friendship, conversation and highlight the services and support available to them. About the role 

We are inviting applications for the role of Volunteering Administrator within our ‘Connections for Life’ team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a non-profit organisation where everyone plays an important part in achieving our charitable aims. In this role, the Volunteering Administrator will have responsibilities which include; 

  • To be the first point of contact for all volunteering queries, recruitment, and selection. 

  • To support the recruitment of volunteers including interview and selection, disclosure checks and references as required. 

  • To provide support for volunteers throughout the recruitment process  

  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the Association’s CRM system (we use Salesforce) 

  • To identify and follow up all opportunities to recruit volunteers. 

  • To manage volunteering promotion, press and publicity in line with the marketing plan.

About You 

As you would expect from a role such as this, our ideal Volunteering Administrator will thrive in confidently engaging and supporting volunteers and our beneficiaries. Essential skills for this role include; 

 

  • Excellent telephone manner 

  • Up to date IT skills to include using databases, SharePoint, email and other office applications 

  • Creative problem solver with attention to detail 

  • Broad range of office administration skills 

  • Up to date training with GDPR and data protection legislation 

  • Experience of recruitment processes and an understanding of Disclosure and Barring checks
