Salary: £16,054.08 to £18,069.48 per annum + Overtime opportunities

Working Hours / Pattern: 39 hours per week, Monday to Sunday
Holme Pierrepoint Country Park, the home of the National Water Sports Centre has excellent water facilities, accommodation, a campsite, Outdoor Adventure Zone, Life Fitness Gym and marvellous nature trails for cycling and walking, it is a favourite destination for families, schools, corporate clients and individuals.
Here at National Water Sports centre an exciting opportunity has arisen, as we're looking at recruiting for Water assistants to work on our fun, vibrant and open planned sports centre.
Our goal is to get more people, more active, more often. We provide affordable access to a wide range of sports and leisure facilities to support healthier and happier people across all segments of the local community.
As the Water assistant, you will be working on the preparation, repair and maintenance of the water facilities and equipment plus controlling and directing the use of water-based activities and associated facilities as part of a team.
You will also be accountable for different areas such as contributing to the management of health and safety within the workshop and preparation of the water facilities for activities and events.
You will help in facilitating a safe, fun and professional working environment with excellent development opportunities.
It is essential that any potential applicants hold a driving licence. Furthermore, we are looking to hear from people who are a confident open water swimmer, those who can work well with colleagues but also to their own initiative and someone who looks and strives for self-improvement.
You will need to be flexible as earliest start time could be 6.30am and latest finish time 8pm.
No experience needed as full training will be given to the successful candidate.
