Job Description

Lancaster City Council is recruiting into an exciting post to work at the award-winning Salt Ayre Leisure Centre supporting the Public Health funded Weight Management service.    

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join an enthusiastic and passionate team.

We are looking for results focused, organised and enthusiastic individual with a desire to contribute to the success of the Public Health funded weight management service.

The post holder will hold a level 4 qualification obesity and weight management and be responsible for the delivery of education and activity sessions in line with the Tier II weight management programme for adults. The role will also include the delivery of outreach and roadshow events to promote and raise awareness of the intervention. A full current UK driving licence is essential. This role will require the post holders to collect, and record agreed KPI’s to monitor progress of participants, to ensure Public Health targets are met.

Hours of work are 15 hours per week a rota basis, to suit the needs of the business. This will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Please note, this post is a temporary fixed term contract until 30.09.22
