Job Description

Lancaster City Council is recruiting into an exciting post to work at the award-winning Salt Ayre Leisure Centre supporting the Public Health funded Weight Management service.     

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join an enthusiastic and passionate team. 

We are looking for results focused, organised and enthusiastic individual with a desire to contribute to the success of the Public Health funded weight management service. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of administrative support to the Weight Management programme Manager. This will include booking and managing appointments, dealing with general enquiries and queries. 

Hours of work are 25 hours per week a rota basis, working 5 days out 7 to suit the needs of the business. This will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Please note, this post is a temporary fixed term contract until 30.09.22 

For internal applicants, this role can be a secondment opportunity. When this role comes to an end, a successful internal applicant will return to their substantive role. The secondment of an employee from another Service can only take place with the agreement of the Manager of the Service the applicant is contracted to.
