Working Foreman/ Supervisor

Location: Bristol

Full Time Permanent

Salary up to £40,000 per annum, plus, company van & fuel card

42.5 hours per week (8-5 Monday -Friday)

Pyramid Plus South, a joint venture partnership between A2Dominion and Mears Property Services, provides repairs and maintenance, compliance, planned replacements and fire risk assessment works. We successfully complete over 35,000 repairs, 2,200 electrical tests, 1,000 voids and fit 600 kitchens and bathrooms annually to 23,500 homes. With a wide range of upcoming projects, there are exciting times ahead as we continue to grow!

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the supervision of operatives, ensuring maximum productivity, profitability and satisfaction through effective resource planning & use.
  • Supervise and monitor work delivery, progression & completion via ongoing site visits to ensure works are adequately resourced, being effectively delivered to set quality standard, completed on time and within budget and compile management reports on operational activities, initiatives, and performance.
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to H&S regulations, Mears standard operating procedures & values, quality assurance accreditations, and the company's commitment to best practice with legislation and codes of good working practices relevant to all work activities.
  • Ensure the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with all stakeholders, this includes but not limited to, appearance, company ID, maintaining a high standard of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Ensure an efficient and productive service is delivered to service users and client to support the attainment and maintenance of high levels of satisfaction with performance delivery in accordance with agreed standard operating procedures.
  • Provide good management of employees' performance, ensuring HR Policies & Procedures are followed and implement individual or group training where required.
  • Monitor and maintain all supplied company assets, including operatives vans, van stocks, material purchases, tools, plant hire, uniform and PPE.
  • Undertake any other duties as required by the company, provide back up to other Working Foremen/Supervisors to cover any absences and attend informal and formal company & client meetings and training sessions as required.

Role Criteria:

  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience in Carpentry, Tiling Painting & decorating
  • IT Literate
  • Good Written and verbal communication skills
  • Good Time keeping
  • Attention to Detail
  • UK Full driving license
