Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
Arcanum is renowned in the Cyber Security industry as an exemplar in the employment of Veterans and Reservists. Over 90% of our employees are Veterans, Reservists or Military Spouses. Our Directors/owners and Managing Director are all Veterans. They fully understand the support and guidance service leavers need, personally providing unique mentoring to ensure a successful transition into civilian life. Arcanum’s support for ex-forces members also extends to forces spouses. In this respect, as a minimum, all job applicants will be interviewed by telephone, with the majority (unless they are demonstrably unsuitable for the role applied for) being called forward to a formal interview. In addition, advice on improving CVs and in selecting appropriate training and development paths to prepare for a role in Cyber Security or Digital Forensics will be provided. In the case of military spouses, we make a commitment to attempt to find alternative employment within the business in another location, if they need to move to accompany their partner. We endeavour to offer a degree of flexibility in granting leave for service spouses and partners before, during and after a partner’s deployment or at other key times. We look sympathetically on requests for holidays before, during or after a partner’s overseas deployment, when the service person has leave to spend time with their family.

Formed in 2008, Arcanum Information Security has grown quickly to become a leading provider of Cyber Security Consultancy services to Government and the private sector. Our highly trusted staff have ex-military or government service experience and top-level security clearances, and have Certified Cyber Professional status awarded by the National Cyber Security Centre (part of GCHQ). Many are Armed Forces Reservists, using their cyber-security skills and expertise on operational tasking to help protect the UK. They employ the same highly developed principles and commitment to deliver timely, high quality work and advice to our clients.
