Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
AW Ship Management Ltd is proud to support service leavers, reservists and armed forces spouses wherever possible, and are signatories to the Armed Forces Covenant and the Defence Employer’s Recognition Scheme. In order to demonstrate this support, AW are committed to ensuring that all vacancies are open to the above groups and have ensured this by formalising this commitment within our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Policy. All company vacancies will be registered with the Career Transition Partnership and other appropriate agencies, with this commitment an audited part of our Quality plan, both internally and externally. In addition, AW have policies in place to provide additional leave to Armed Forces Reservists and Cadet Volunteers to enable time for training and camps without impacting general staff leave. The company is committed to being flexible to allow for families to be together when an Armed Forces member or Reservist departs for or returns from a deployment. We will support staff whose partners or family are deployed, or those who require additional leave as a result of an injury or bereavement.
