BuildForce

Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

BuildForce was created in 2011, to support our Service Leavers and Veterans into long term careers in construction. We wanted to create structured entry routes to industry, give visibility to careers available and provide the training to access those careers. Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant is to ensure our Service Leavers and Veterans remain at the centre of everything we do, and their wellbeing, training and long-term employment remains our priority. We have over 200 employers in construction who are registered with us, whom we actively support in enrolling with the ERS Scheme. We also encourage our employers to employ our Reservists and provide them with additional support in allowing them to serve our Armed Forces.

BuildForce are ambassadors of both the construction industry and the Armed Forces and sit on panels, governing boards, and provide op-ed articles on topical events in industry.

The five BuildForce directors are both Veterans, a Reservist and Industry Professionals and we actively employ Veterans within our delivery team.
