Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
Camden & Islington lead on the delivery of the NHS Veterans Mental Health and Transition Intervention and Liaison Service (TILS) and the Complex Treatment Service (CTS) across the London and the South East funded by NHS England.
Our TILS and CTS works with the wider NHS, MOD and 3rd sector organisations to ensure that London veterans are identified and have their needs recognised and met.
Camden & Islington is committed to supporting the Armed Forces community and recognises the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our organisation. We strive to support the values of the Armed Forces Covenant in many ways, including: - We will always consider offering an interview to spouses/partners if they meet the selection criteria laid out in a job advert; - We will support spouses and partners to work flexibly enabling them to achieve a work/life balance; - We support training and development which helps staff in their C&I role and benefit in future employment; - We support our Reservists and Cadet Adult Instructor Volunteers by providing 10 days paid leave per year to undertake training.
