Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

Citizens Advice Mid Lincolnshire (CAML) is committed to supporting the Armed Forces communicty and recognises the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our organisation.  We will seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant in many ways, including:

• We will always consider offering an interview to spouses/partners if they meet the selection criteria laid out in a job advert.
• We will support veterans and spouses/partners with training to become a volunteer within CAML and encourage them to use it as a pathway to paid employment, if this is their goal.
• We will seek to support the employment of spouses/partners by advertising through 'service friendly' recruitment agencies.
• We will look to offer a degree of flexibility on requests for leave for spouses/partners before, during and after a partner's deployment.
• We will support training and development which helps staff not only in their CAML roles, but will also be of benefit in future employment.
