Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
Evolve Military College are committed to employing veterans in a variety of roles and supporting service leavers in the transition from Military to civilian service. Furthermore Evolve Military College recognise the contribution of military families and strive to offer employment to the spouses of veterans, service leavers and current serving personnel. We are also committed to offering employment opportunities to Cadet Adult Instructors and volunteers and actively encourage employees to continue service in the reserve forces and by volunteering in the cadet forces.
Evolve Military College commit to offering work experience and volunteering posts to veterans and service leavers and to supporting our forces community employees through additional paid leave for reserve and Cadet commitments and through medical and counselling support where applicable.
Evolve Military College commit to supporting the activities of our local cadet forces and will support Armed forces day where appropriate.
About us
Evolve Military College opened its doors in September 2016 with the view to deliver education and training programmes by utilising the skills, qualities and experience of forces veterans to be role models who will ensure that service users have an outstanding experience. Teamwork, personal pride and discipline, physical and mental robustness, duty, community spirit, confidence and humility are the qualities that Evolve Military College endeavours to teach and develop in its learners. By using a holistic approach to training and focusing on what are essential skills for employment and life, service users find that they are able to raise and achieve their aspirations.
Our mission is to secure a supportive and stimulating environment where courage, discipline, respect for others, integrity, loyalty, selfless commitment, humility and humour are practiced with courtesy, consideration and common sense in order to develop each individual person as a whole and enable them to make a positive contribution to their community and society as a whole.
