Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

EXCELR8 BTCC are proud and committed to supporting our Armed Forces, both serving and veterans.

We will continue to promote the Armed Forces and the benefits of a career in the Armed Forces in developing professional skills, especially in the Science, Technology and Mathematics (STEM) trades.

We will continue to support the employment of veterans, recognising military skills and qualifications in our recruitment and selection process; working with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) to support the employment of Service leavers.

This spreads to the wider Armed Forces Community supporting the employment of Service spouses and partners. We have partnered with the Forces Families Jobs Forum to achieve this. Where possible we will be providing flexibility in granting leave for Service spouses and partners before, during and after a partner’s deployment.

Through our commercial partners we will be offering Armed Forces personnel and their families discounts on selected products. 

About us

EXCELR8 Motorsport is practically unique among race teams in that its founder, Justina Williams, has a successful background in business rather than coming from a career in motorsport.

Founded in 2010, a determination to succeed combined with high levels of professionalism meant that success was never far away, and the team was rewarded with their first MINI CHALLENGE championship in 2010. Another 26 titles have followed including numerous championship runner up trophies.

In 2019 the team appeared at the highest level of UK motorsport for the first time as they campaigned the venerable MG6s in the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship. The team approached the challenge with the same level of professionalism that has delivered such success in other series and were rewarded with 10th in the Independent Teams Championship.

In keeping with the ambitious nature of the team, and to accelerate progress towards their goal to be crowned BTCC champions, EXCELR8 Motorsport designed and built four cars based on the Hyundai i30 Fastback N Performance.
