ForHousing

Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

We’re proud to be a forces-friendly organisation, recognising veterans, reservists and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers and their families. We believe everyone should be treated with fairness and respect, no matter their background.

6% of people who are classed as homeless are veterans, and often members of the armed forces community can struggle to receive the same opportunities as we do. We want to break this chain. We pledge that no member of the ForHousing armed forces community should face a disadvantage compared to others.

We have been awarded the silver award, but our hard work doesn’t stop there.

About us

ForHousing is a progressive landlord that owns and manage more than 24,000 homes and delivers housing management services for other landlords.

We invest in homes and spaces to fuel people’s potential and improve lives. What starts as a house on a street becomes a home full of new possibilities. A place for people to build new lives and become part of a community. Lives don’t improve by chance. They improve by change. That’s why everything we do is for the good of tenants. And why we work together, collaboratively, with care to have a lasting impact on communities.

We also work hard to create the best working environments that focus on people, where staff are inspired and valued. We are proud to have a diverse, flexible workforce, working together to be a positive influence on people’s lives.

We enable people to set their own plan of possibilities, a plan to fulfil their potential – whatever this might be.
