About us
Fortem specialises in making homes, buildings and communities better places to live. We began as a small business with just 38 employees. Since we were established in 2002, we have expanded to become a well-established company with over 1000 people. Delivering responsive repairs and voids is our core business. Fortem has provided this combined service in people's homes for over 40 social housing clients across the UK. We are annually completing 400,000 repairs in occupied homes whilst preparing 10,000 vacant properties for future occupancy.
In the last year, we have delivered in excess of 15,000 planned installations including kitchens, bathrooms, rewires, central heating, windows, doors, roofing, walls, drainage and environmental improvements for local authorities and registered social housing clients. We improve the fabric and appearance of properties to make them cheaper and easier to heat, reduce carbon emissions, help families out of fuel poverty and change lives. In addition we undertake repairs nationwide for a wide range of clients, blue light services and to public sector buildings.
