Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust

Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

We recognise the valuable contribution that our military and ex-military workforce makes to the daily running of Frimley Health. We are in a unique position of having the Joint Hospital Group (South East) (JHGSE) based at Frimley Park Hospital. Not all hospitals have regular military personnel fully integrated into their services, but we do, working alongside our NHS colleagues in many departments. For this reason we also have a significant number of service spouses and service family members working for us.

Added to that, Frimley sits in an area steeped in military tradition and is surrounded my military units, from RAF Odiham to the Aldershot, Brookwood and Pirbright garrisons. This has brought a significant number of service leavers and veterans into employment within the Trust and we want to celebrate the variety of skills, knowledge, motivation and commitment that they bring.

About us

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust provides NHS hospital services for around 900,000 people across Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and south Buckinghamshire. We brought together Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to create Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust on 1 October 2014.

Our aim is simple. We want to provide the highest quality healthcare possible to you. As well as delivering excellent general hospital services to local people, we provide specialist heart attack, vascular, stroke, spinal, cystic fibrosis and plastic surgery services across a much wider area.

We have three main hospitals - Frimley Park in Frimley near Camberley, Heatherwood in Ascot and Wexham Park near Slough. Sometimes it’s easier for you if we come closer to home so we run outpatient clinics and diagnostic services from Aldershot, Farnham, Fleet, Windsor, Maidenhead, Bracknell and Chalfont St Peter.

We have strong links to our communities through our 24,000 foundation trust members representing patients, partners and staff, staying connected to what is important to you.
