Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
Hampshire County Council is proud to hold the Gold Award for the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme. We recognise the value and skills that members of the Armed Forces community bring to the organisation, and we ensure that we support colleagues that are part of that community. We have a reservists policy, which sets out guidance for both employees and manager and allows for 10 working days additional paid leaving to attend training. Hampshire is also unique in having bases from all three forces, and so we have one of the biggest Armed Forces communities in the UK.
Hampshire County Council is a keen supporter and advocate of the Armed Forces community, and we welcome applications from those with military links.
